Libyan children leave a storage freezer after seeing the corpse of dead former Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi, in Misrata, Libya, on Oct. 23, 2011.
According to media sources, the chief of Libya’s National Transitional Council Mustafa Abdel Jalil expressed displeasure at the killing of Gadhafi, and denied that the ousted leader’s body was mutilated. Gadhafi, 69, was captured alive on Oct. 20 by council-backed fighters in his hometown of Sirte. He was then killed along with his son, Moutassem.
