(JNS.org) A recent Fatah youth football tournament was named for terrorists who murdered an Israeli rabbi, Palestinian Media Watch reported.
The “Martyrs Raed Al-Sarkaji, Anan Subh, Ghassan Abu Sharakh, and Haitham Al-Naana Ramadan Football Championship” honored the three terrorists who shot Rabbi Meir Chai in 2009. Two days after killing the rabbi, the terrorists died in a shootout with the Israel Defense Forces.
Fatah’s football tournament included a closing ceremony “that began with a moment of silence and a recitation of [the Koran’s] Surat Al-Fatihah, in memory of the heroic Martyrs,” according to an Aug. 19 report in Palestinian Authority daily publication Al-Hayat Al-Jadida.
Chai, who was murdered at age 45, had seven children.
